London blogger dinner?

Both Don and I are in town for a couple days... anyone feel like getting together for a dinner?  We were thinking Monday at some great curry place... Don will provide the location when we see what the response is like...

Hard to estimate turn out really, I only moved here to the UK in late November. Maybe book conservatively and seeings as its a Monday night in winter we might be able to expand if interest increases?

I knew you'd do this - I'll be on the train home at that time so I'll be lucky to make the post event drinks. However I get into London on Sunday evening - anyone for a pre-blogger-dinner drinks then?

Julian - sure, the more the merrier
Graham - alas I have plans on Sunday, however post event drinks sound good... I'm looking to try and see "Dog and Duck" - i've heard it's a good pub?

If you're also free on Tuesday night, you might consider dropping by the Extreme Tuesday Club (the London Extreme Programming group) at the Old Bank of England pub on Fleet St. We've been going about 4 years now. Follow the links from http://www.xpdeveloper.com.

Robert Hogg | www.blackmarble.co.uk | lindaAT NOSPAMblackmarble dot co dot uk

Yes, this is definite.

Chris, Megan and I will get there between 8:00PM and 8:30PM.

I'm guessing we'll be there for at least 90 minutes, longer if people actually show up (Chris and Megan have grown tired of my stories, so please come and entertain them).

I'd love to come and meet you but can't make it tonight.

But can I suggest (for another time) for you and Don another curry place - Woodlands off Marylebone High St - it's more southern indian food than the usual north indian so quite different (delicate) and very good (and they take bookings ;^))

http://www.woodlandsrestaurant.co.uk/restaurants.html

You can walk there from Bond Street in about 10 minutes (behind Selfridges) so if you're staying in Park Lane it's quite close.

Cheers
